The first step of the process entails locating existing buildings, fences, walls, and other major structures near the lot line(s) to be adjusted. Next, a parcel map exemption package is prepared for processing through the city or county offices. The package includes new legal descriptions for the proposed parcels and a parcel map exemption exhibit. The exhibit shows the existing lot lines, proposed lot lines, and the relationship of any located structures to the existing and proposed boundaries. Processing through the city or county offices is available upon request.
